Good Deal Alert

If you have an HEB grocery store near you, they have Boston Pork Butt Roasts on sale for 1$ per pound. The limit is 2. I have never used this kind of meat before but for 1$ per pound I was willing to try it. I am hoping to make atleast 3 meals out of it!

If you have an Albertsons grocery store near you, they have Wholly Salsa on sale this week for .99$ and there are 1.00$ coupons that came out a few week's ago which mean free salsa!! I picked up 8 boxes this week and am thinking about going back and getting another 8 or so, it looks very yummy!

Pork Butt (Pulled Pork) is acctually great in the crock pot for about 6 or 8 hours flavored anyway you like, I put in some garlic and a bed of onion slices on the bottom of the crock pot then just let it go.

Crock Pot BBQ

1 3-4 lb Pork Loin or Boston Butt Roast
2 T. Sugar (I use white sugar)
1 T. Salt
1 cup vinegar (I use white vinegar)

Sear roast before you put in the crock pot. Put roast in crock pot and mix sugar, salt and vinegar together and pour over roast. Cook 8-10 hours on low. (cooking time will depend on size of roast)Remove meat from bones and shred or chop.
Mix the following:
1/4 cup of ketchup
1/4 cup broth from roast
1 T. worchestershire sauce
A few drops of Texas Pete hot sauce
Pour over shredded roast and mix. Serve with BBQ slaw and buns.
